Oh Spongebob, you do get around, don’t you? After hooking up with japanese heavyweights Bape, he’s back; except, this time, it’s the streets that brought him back.

A ton of artists are selling (legit) Nike Air Force Ones with Spongebob graphics plastered over them; and we’ve got to admit… We really want some! I mean c’mon, who doesn’t love Spongebob…? Exactly.

Reebok Casual Sneakers (Mens) – Are they a Classic or an Ice Cream?

Over the years, I’ve slowly been getting tired of Reebok. Some people may gasp in shock at that, but I don’t care – I said it. Reebok are becoming boring and repetitive. When Pharrell teamed up with ‘em and brought us the Ice cream line, I was happy; they finally tried something new. Let’s face it though – everything else they make lately has been done before, or is just a tweaked version of another shoe in their huge line.

So today I got an email from Amazon recommending me a few new Reebok products; my instant thought? Oh no. Not again. What have they came up with now? A red version of an old green sneaker they brought out three years ago? Well, imagine my shock when the first thing in the email was actually not that bad.

I quickly headed over to Amazon to inspect the new shoes. The line I am talking about at the moment is the Reebok Men’s Derrty One Sneaker, currently selling for anywhere between 20 and 60 bucks depending on the size and colour chosen. They feature a nice flag (which somewhat resembles the UK) and a Jackson Pollock style paint spalt graphic; surprisingly, they go together really well. There is also another variation featuring a brown coffee like colour, where the paint splats have simply been replaced with a solid black colour – this looks nice too. All in all, I like these shoes. I haven’t liked Reebok for a while now, but maybe – just maybe – they can come back hard.

Nike AF1 (Nike Air Force Ones if youâ€™re awkward and want the full name) have a very long history. Letâ€™s look at some af1 release dates. The air force ones were released way back in 1982, however we only started to see custom af1â€™s around eight years ago. Nike air force oneâ€™s have came a very long way. You should see some of the crazy custom af1â€™s some of the big rappers have. Kanye West particularly has some very gorgeous custom af1 shoes. Wow we sure do mention Kanye a lot at Urban Lookout! Well, he seems to own every piece of clothing we blog about, heh. Stop buying them, Kanye.

Anyway. On to todayâ€™s review. We have a stunning pair of custom air force ones courtesy of MixUnit. These specific custom af1â€™s are the GourmetKickzâ„¢ Customs; â€˜Death at Dawn AF1â€™. They are orange, red and black in colour and feature an amazing looking and feeling fabric overlay containing images of skeletons. They would be the perfect match to the LRG skeleton hoodie we mentioned a few days ago. These af1â€™s are hand painted and feature a custom tongue tag. Check the picture.
