Kano is no stranger to the UK hip-hop/grime scene, though he’s still not seen the huge success of the likes of Dizzee Rascal and The Streets - and we’re not sure why. Not only has his continuously brought us fire through his unique and ever changing flow, he’s improved on every one of his albums and mixtapes.
Now he’s back with …

Last night was Jay-Z’s Manchester show (part of his UK ROCnation tour) and we, living in Manchester, decided to attend. We’re so glad we did. Not only did Mark Ronson bring Rhymefest (who totally killed his set), Hov brought out non other than Kanye West.
It was only 8 …

Here’s a fresh new Busta Rhymes track which leaked late yesterday; it features a dope appearance from Ludacris, and an average one from Weezy. Overall, it’s a solid track, and will most likely be on Busta’s upcoming album Blessed.
Blessed is due for release this August.

Well, what do you know… It turns out our anonymous tipster was right! As our source told us earlier this week, it appears that Obie Trice has been dropped from Shady/Interscope and is now a free agent.

Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z took the stage last night and performed in front of over 100,000 people - and he opend up with a sly shot to Noel Gallagher, who stated that it was a disgrace that Hip-Hop was being played at Glastonbury. The entire set by Jay was amazing, with his live band mixing in classic rock riffs in to …

It’s been over 7 years since Dr Dre’s last album dropped, and we’ve been anticipating Detox for almost 5. It’s been a bumpy ride, but it looks like we’re finally going to see the doctors latest creation this year; at least according to Snoop. He was caught leaving a studio where he had apparently recorded a verse for Dre, and …

After last weeks controversy and hate over Kanye’s late performance at the Bonnaroo festival, Kanye has finally stepped up and responded via his blog.

This video has been going around the interwebs for around a month now, but despite that a lot of people still haven’t seen this classic footage. Basically, it shows a bunch of tourists filming when suddenly, along comes Busta Rhymes. They ask Busta for a photograph, but as he is on his way to the bathroom, he ignores them for a moment. This results in some woman calling him ignorant, which in turn makes Busta beat her down (not literally). The stupid British woman did deserve what she got though, I have to admit. I’m British and really, I hate that dumb chick. Video after the jump.
