So, I took it upon myself to make a post about one now. I decided we’d be looking at the yellow version, simply because that’s my favourite (even though I own a white one) and also because it’s the one Kanye wore on the Friday Night Project in the UK. For an upcoming feature, we’ll be decoding Kanyes outfit he wore on there, so I thought it would be a good idea to write individually about each of the pieces too over time.

So, yes! The Bape G-Shock watch comes in a large varity of colours, and Kanye has probably worn all of them by now (honestly, there’s pictures floating around with him wearing pink ones, white ones, yellow ones) so you know they’re all top quality – but that’s what we’ve come to expect from Japanese urban heavyweight Bathing Ape.  The watch is made of a very high quality plastic which has a very smooth feel; as you might guess, the G-Shock is shock resistant and is also water resistant.

You can pick these up online for a decent price, but beware – a lot of people are selling fakes. The easiest way to tell if you’re buying a fake or not is to see whether the text above the “G” button (which by the way illuminates the display, revealing the Bape logo in the background) says “Go! Ape” – if it does not say Go Ape, then it’s a fake. Of course, some people don’t really care if they have a fake or not, in which case is ok – but I just wanted to put that out there.

I’m sure you all know Bape by now; they have been making a huge name for themselves after Pharrell launched a series of new stores around the globe, and Nigo rocking their shit where ever he god damn well goes. There stuff is fly. Unusual, but man, fly.

The ‘Animal Kingdom’ Hoodie is no different. It features the charm yet slight insanity that all of the greatest bape clothing items are known for. It’s witty, fun, cute and wild – all rolled in to one highly fashionable and um, green, package. It’s fantastic, honestly. You’ll like it. Pharrell does. Nigo does. Who doesn’t? Well, I didn’t like some of their last season summer stuff, but still – I like this. It’s dope. It’s full of little monkeys – awesome. For the best price on these, I’d suggest eBay – you can grab a real bargain there.
