After we revealed that Kanye’s fourth album would be called 808’s & Heartbreak at the start of the month, we’ve just got another tip from one of the same guys who have told us ‘Ye has planned to push the album forward a whole month, to November the 16th – and we’re all for that!
Update: Well what d’you know? We were right again. Kanye speaks on his blog:
I CHANGED MY ALBUM TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT.. I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
He didn’t mention the 16th, but it’s likely our source was correct about the specifics too.

Rumours have been flying around for a few months now, but it’s now official: Sway has signed a multi-album deal with Akon’s Kon Live label.
The deal applies worldwide, with exception to the United Kingdom, where Sway distrubites his album through his own independnt label Dcypha Productions.
This is huge news, as it makes Sway the very first british rapper to get a worldwide distribution deal, and more importantly, the united states.
Sway’s second studio album (The Signature LP) is due to be released October 6th, and will feature guests such as Akon and Lemar.

I had to post this. B.o.B is one of the guys I can see giving hip-hop new energy…
I hope there will be more like this from the ATL rapper soon.

Um, I’m honestly not sure what to think about this. I really hope they don’t fuck this movie up too badly. The dude playing Diddy is just funny. We’ll see I guess…

Oh Spongebob, you do get around, don’t you? After hooking up with japanese heavyweights Bape, he’s back; except, this time, it’s the streets that brought him back.
A ton of artists are selling (legit) Nike Air Force Ones with Spongebob graphics plastered over them; and we’ve got to admit… We really want some! I mean c’mon, who doesn’t love Spongebob…? Exactly.
They’re really dope, and of course, Air Force ones are our sneaker of choice. They’re rocked by just about every hip-hop artist you can think of, from Kanye West to Lil Wayne. So yeah, you NEED to check these out below.

Come on, ya’ll know this was coming after Maino dropped Hi Hater. This new black tee just landed at MixUnit, and we have to say, we quite like it, even though we’re not huge Maino fans; but hey, T.I and Jadakiss killed it on the remix, so it’s all good – right?
Available now in limited supply from MixUnit.

We’ve been waiting on this for a good while now, but the video has finally dropped to the first single off of Kano’s third studio album, 140 Grime St, Hustler.
We don’t need no crime where we liveeeee. Some catchy shit.
Cop the album when it drops on the 29th.

This is annoying me. A ton of people are claiming that Kanye West’s fourth album in the “college series” will be called Good Ass Job.
Well, it’s not.
We got confirmation from two guys (reliable guys) that the album will be called 808’s & Heartbreak, and will be dropping mid-December.
So, there.
Please stop calling it Good Ass Job.
Update: Yeah, our guys were right [thanks]. Title has been confirmed & first single Love Lockdown is below.

Cassidy, the Philadelphia rapper who has been pretty much missing for the past few months, is back. With a new track; which is actually pretty hot. Give it a listen, anyway…
The beat is from Terminate On Sight, more specifically from the track “Party Aint Over” – I think Cass actually did better than the Unit on this one…

I’m from the UK and I’ve never heard of this dude, but British MC Dap-C from Newcastle just hooked up with some of the hottest artists in the game right now and created this monster of a track. They all killed it, especially Royce and Talib. Royce even threw a couple light shots at Wayne…
The track was produced by Quincy Tones.
